The National Juvenile Indoor Combined Events took place on Saturday last in Nenagh where the club were represented by Sophie Ralston in the U18 Pentathlon and Maria McNamara, Claire Ryder and Ella Bryan all in the U14 Pentathlon.

The highlight of the day was Maria's leap of 1.41m in the high jump, a massive 11cm improvement on her PB and a mark which would put her very close to the medals at National level in this event. Maria finished in 5th place overall, with Claire and Ella (both of whom were stepping up an age) in 12th and 16th. Both Claire and Ella had excellent shot putt scores for their age, with Ella also recording a high jump PB of 1.32m.

It was also a good day for Sophie who had a PB in the 800m of 2.49.9 and a respectable 6th place finish overall in the U18 Girls Pentathlon.
