Mathys Bocquet capped off a fantastic year by claiming a coveted spot on the Irish Schools team for the SIAB International in Scotland in a stunning performance on the 7th March.  Unfortunately for Mathys the unthinkable happened and the world changed overnight due to a tiny virus, leading to the 11th hour decision of the Irish team not to travel to the event.  It was a good decision as the event itself was also cancelled the next day!

However, Mathys still got the reward of an international selection grant, presented last night by Lisa at the team training review meeting, along with special guest Damian who was giving us a view of life as a Collegiate in the USA.
