If you dive into the archives on this Web site, this time last year I speculated that 2006 was the club’s most successful ever at Galway Community Games winning 8 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals including 1 cycling, 4 middle-distance, 3 sprints, 3 jumps, 3 throws and 2 relay teams. Congratulations Tomás and Maeve

Congratulations to Tomás Keehan and Maeve Curley who competed in the Irish Schools Track & Field on Sat 1 June in Tullamore, both producing the goods in their respective events with Maeve taking gold in the Junior Girls 1200m Walk in a time of 5.56.81 and Tomás taking silver in the Junior Boys High Jump with a leap of 1.55m.

Triona Coppinger, Val Fogarty and Ann Kelly will be coordinating a meet and train session every Wednesday night on the track at Craughwell NS.
