In splendid sunshine we had the first day of the Galway senior track and Field last Thursday.  We had a decent turn-out from the club with considerable sucess – winning womens & mens Long Jump, womens & mens 100m and the Medley relay.

I had never really tried the track before and I found to be thoroughly enjoyable.  Day 2 is on Thursday 3rd July so hopefully we can put forward another team then.
