Date fixed for Galway Community Games cross country

A date has been fixed for this competition as per the attached letter from Vincent Conway who is coordinating the event – 2nd March in Tuam Palace Grounds at 2pm. Please note that the €30 deposit mentioned for those that qualify for Mosney is non-refundable. Cathriona Farrell seals senior debut with National victory

In her first competitive fixture in a senior grade (athletes are allowed compete in senior events once they reach the U17 grade), Cathriona Farrell claimed the top spot in the high jump at the National AAI Indoor Games in Nenagh on Sunday last, beating Rosemary Daniels from Co. Big PB for Maria McNamara in High Jump

The National Juvenile Indoor Combined Events took place on Saturday last in Nenagh where the club were represented by Sophie Ralston in the U18 Pentathlon and Maria McNamara, Claire Ryder and Ella Bryan all in the U14 Pentathlon.     The highlight of the day was Maria's leap of 1.41m in the high jump, a massive 11cm improvement on her PB and a mark which would put her very close to the medals at National level in this event. Craughwell Athletes in fine form at Galway Indoors

An action packed weekend saw Craughwell AC compete with distinction at the Galway Indoor Championships recently.
