Two of our male and two of our female marathon runners were in action last Sunday and Monday testing out more marathon courses to save us all having to go global. Vince Boyle and Wally Walsh took on Belfast on Monday while Val Fogarty and Dervilla Darcy travelled further a field and tested the Krakow course in Poland.

Race 2 : TuamLast night's Tuam 5k was an outstanding success – made all the better by the superb weather conditions and a challenging but thoroughly enjoyable new route. Despite having run a very tough half marathon last weekend in Luxemborg, Brian O'Connor still had enough in the tank to take the race in Tuam – coming home in roughly 16:40, just ahead of a strong Timmy Glavey. Well done to everyone who took part in today's U9-12 Track and Field in Dangan. Despite dismal weather predictions, we got a nice surprise and it was mostly dry/sunny for the duration of the event.
