Great club performances in National B Cross-Country

Great club performances in National B Cross-Country

The National B cross-country championships were held on a lovely sunny day in Lough Key Forest Park on Sunday. The sunshine took the winter chill out of the air but one could be forgiven for thinking that the lake had over-flown onto the cross country course such were the soggy underfoot conditions.  It’s not the driest course at the best of times but buckets of overnight rainfall left athletes debating whether or not they’d swim it or race it. All…

It’s Not a Long Way to Tipperary

It’s Not a Long Way to Tipperary

Precious Metal Haul in Nenagh!

Precious Metal Haul in Nenagh!

Craughwell AC were laden down with precious metal as they departed Nenagh on Saturday with an amazing haul of 95 medals weighing Liam Dervans bus down on the journey home from the Galway Indoor Track & Field Championships. Nenagh was a ghost-town that morning as our bus trundled through – the town still shell-shocked by the deaths a few days ago of three teenagers in a car accident. May they rest in peace.   Craughwell had a huge number of participants in…
