Two notable successes were achieved by our top high jumper Cathriona Farrell recently. Firstly Cathriona was announced as the recipient of Athletics Ireland’s Star Award for the best juvenile athlete in Co. Galway for 2008. Well done Cathriona! Craughwell Burn Up the Track at U12-14 Connacht Indoors

There were some fantastic performances by the club at the first day of the Connacht Indoors in Nenagh on Sunday, with medals won in all of the athletic disciplines bar the walks. Encouraging Performances in Irish Schools Cross Country

The club had a small number of athletes in action in the Irish Schools cross-country finals which were held in Jordanstown, Co. Antrim at the weekend. Schools athletics are the highest standard of athletics in the country as it crosses all sporting disciplines and gets the best representatives from the 4 provinces. Ballycotton results up
