6 ft Approaching! Cathriona Breaks U19 National Record, Tomas Shares U18 Title

This years National Juvenile Indoor Championships served up a remarkable indoor season for the club where our athletes claimed a total of 12 individual medals – with only 2 clubs in the country winning more medals than us (Ferrybank and St. Lawrence O’Toole). At the final weekend of the Championships, the club had its most successful weekend ever with 7 individual medals and 1 relay medal. This is great encouragement for everyone in the club, particularly given our focus on…

Real quality in Quilty

Real quality in Quilty

Craughwell sent a strong team to Quilty last weekend and we were amazed at the quality of the field in this tiny race.  There were a little over 100 participants, but to put the ability level in perspective, the ever consistent Martin finished higher up in the streets of Galway last year!  This was a real quality event – the likes of which are all too rare around Galway. Diarmuid Quill quietly slipped across the Irish sea for the British Masters Indoor Track & Field in the state of the art Lee Valley athletics centre. Club Records Crashing Down!

Some fantastic performances this year have seen 9 junior records and 6 senior records fall in the last few months.
