I cant believe the improvements by so many this week in Craughwell !The Standard being shown by the juvaniles and the turnout it was amazing.This new course must be really easy ….. Well if there were any doubts in Newcastle, the record of the series of never having been run in the rain was definitely broken tonight.  Nonetheless we had again over 500 finishers and a superb atmosphere despite the freakishly cold snap in the weather.   Sunday last saw the inaugural running of the “Great Limerick Run” and not to put a total damper on it the organisers got a lot of things right. Last night saw the second 5k in the series go off like clockwork in Tuam and with the weather back to favourable running conditions ,most people posted quicker times than last week and everyone seemed to have enjoyed their run ,Craughwell took the win again with Mark posting a nearly identicle time and Peter made a welcome return to snap up 3rd place closely followed by Johnny in fifth .Nice work lads!Well done to the organisers it was a great move…
