Best of luck to all our athletes in Derry!

The very best of luck to all of our athletes who are competing in the first day of the National Cross Country in Derry on Sunday, including: – our U12 boys team– individual girls and boys on the Galway/Connacht teams in the U12 girls, U14 girls and U16 boys age groups– our senior/novice men and women on the Galway teams I've put directions to the venue in the attached document. Injury prevention and stretching

    Parents and juvenile athletes will be interested in the attached presentation which Jane Ann Healy presented to coaches, parents and juvenile athletes in Craughwell recently. Jane Ann is Athletics Ireland's chartered physio in the Galway area for their elite athletes and is based in Oranmore. The club had many athletes in action at the Cumann na mBunscoil cross country races today which were held in Renmore. It was a very successful day again for Oranmore Boys School and Craughwell NS. Event date & time:  Sun, 2010-11-21 12:30 Location:  Kilcornan, Clarinbridge The 2nd annual Clarinbridge 10Km Road Race will take place at 12.30pm on Sunday, 5th DECEMBER 2010.   A very brief newsflash on the fantastic performances of Galway senior athletes in the International Masters cross country in Santry today. The race features teams from England, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales, with teams in each age category M35, M40, M45 etc..
