I just noticed there that Michael Walsh came second in the Ballindine no-watch 4-Mile Guess your time race on the weekend.  This unique event has a cult following and involves each athlete guessing their time before the race begins and the winners are those that most closely match their time.  Michael was only 1 second off his guess of 26:40, and was beaten by Stephen Finnegan who incredibly matched his time exactly of 24:27.   While this is a great prediction…

  Craughwell’s youngest athletes continued the club’s fine tradition in long jump when taking multiple sets of medals at the National track & field finals in Cork on Saturday.
