Craughwell Women take National Marathon Silver!

Fair play to Mike for spotting this one – the Craughwell AC women’s W50 team of Eileen Finn-Graham, Maria McArdle and Marie Rooney have achieved the best Senior women’s team result I can remember for Craughwell AC Senior ladies by winning Silver in the Dublin Marathon.  I’m sure there’ll be more details on it later, but hat’s off ladies that’s a fantastic achievement, not many people have a National medal in their warchest.! Full results available here.

Rob rocks the field on day 1 of World Championships

Great news for a Craughwell AC athlete in a slightly alternative athletics event!  Rob Hogan had an incredible round yesterday – shooting an awesome 77 in 39.31 minutes, an unbelievable performance and a big pb of 116 for him, if I’m not mistaken.  His Golf score was the second lowest of the day, and his time was the fastest by almost 5 minutes – Olympic Silver Medallist Nick Willis coming closest with 44 mins.  The shortest point to point distance for…

Provisional Program for Uneven Ages XC Tomorrow

The provisional program for tomorrow is available online here. I will have a copy for each club tomorrow with race numbers allocated. I deliberately don’t put numbers on what goes on the web so that athletes are not readily identifiable in photos that might be put online after the race.
