Several athletes from the club made the 2 hour trip up the N17 to Sligo racecourse for the Connacht Schools cross country during the week with some fantastic results. Craughwell AC Top the Table in Round 2 of League

Craughwell AC’s women’s team topped the leaderboard in Round 2 of the National Indoor League in Athlone at the weekend. The club took maximum points from the first 3 events of the day with Sineád Treacy taking victory in the 200m, Cathriona Farrell taking high jump gold and Rachel Finnegan winning the triple jump to yield the maximum points of 24. The provisional program for the Connacht Indoors on the first weekend of March is as follows- Connacht Indoor Provisional Program The U12-15 events are all on Saturday 1st while U16 and older are on Sunday 2nd March. Age group coordinators will be seeking entries early this week. Note there are no Connachts for age groups younger than U12.
