Just a quick summary of when training resumes this September. If any new parent is interested in lending a hand, please contact myself or one of the coordinators below. We will be particularly seeking help from parents…

Well done and thank you Emma!

County Track & Field Senior Report

County Track & Field Senior Report

The County Junior/Senior/Masters Championships were held over two very pleasant, balmy days in June recently, and saw a strong Craughwell presence across the three categories. The weather merely reflected the fantastic, friendly atmosphere between competitors – if you haven’t gone to these events before, it is well worth checking out next year. Nobody takes themselves – or the competitive aspect – too seriously, and there is a support and encouragement for all competitors from both fellow-athletes and officials. It’s always…

Major Milestone Reached on New Facility

Major Milestone Reached on New Facility

It’s almost 17 months since we publicly launched our grand ambitions for the purchase and development of an 8-acre site beside Craughwell NS. And its approaching 10 months since the club completed the purchase of the site. In that time-period the club has funded the purchase and development through a combination of loans totalling €164,000 and membership subscriptions, donations, fund-raising and grants with expenditure nearing the €300,000 mark as we speak.
