As Dangan is host to a number of big events tomorrow, can people use 1 of two car-parks which have been allocated to our event. We are not allowed park in any of the other car parks. We would like to encourage people to use a) below if possible, particularly if staying for an hour or more. 2015 Galway Cross Country Championships 4th October, Tuam – Palace Grounds The 2015 Galway Cross Country Championships will take place on October 4th at the Palace Grounds in Tuam. The 2014 Championships saw a great turnout from the club which we hope to repeat this year. Craughwell took 2nd place in both the Senior Mens and Womens categories coupled with some outstanding individual performances on the day. Dust down the passports and start saving the euros – for the club are hopefully heading off to Glasgow again next February for what has become almost an annual event. In the next month or so, Scottish Athletics will decide on the date for the Scottish Indoors 2016. The Athlone half marathon took place yesterday at St. Aloysius college Athlone. Known as the ‘flatline’ with a total elevation gain of just 79 metres it’s a great race for PB’s.
