Christmas Cleanout!

 As part of its ongoing fund-raising campaign, the club are organising a massive cleanout of your old clothes and shoes from your house this Thursday!!  Well actually, you can do the cleanout but we will take all your unwanted items! We have approximately 300 families in the club. If each family donated 4 bags of old clothes (collected from family and neighbours), we would get 1200 bags which amazingly would raise approximately €6000! So please get behind this effort this…

Sineád Gaffney stars in University Road Relays

A massive well done to Sineád Gaffney who competed yesterday on the University of Limerick’s team in the prestigious university road relays which were held in Maynooth. Sineád ran the anchor leg of the relay for UL to earn team silver for the college – a fantastic achievement. Five athletes from the club battled it out at the weekend in Athlone IT in the Irish Schools Pentathlon Championships in Athlone where there were some exceptional performances and incredibly high points totals.
