For a number of reasons the club have had to move the July summer camp due to start next Monday 4th July to August … merging it with our August camp on 15th August. Some of the victorious Craughwell NS team at the Christy Kennedy Sports A very successful Christy Kennedy Sports were held on the grounds of Craughwell NS and the GAA field last week with 100s of children taking part from local primary schools including Ballyglass, Ballymana, Carrabane, Clarinbridge, Coldwood, Craughwell and Killeeneen. There were some fantastic performances throughout the day with Craughwell NS taking the victory in the large schools competition and Ballyglass NS doing likewise in the smaller schools competition….

Jerry Claims Spot on Irish Schools Team

Jerry Keary had the biggest success of his athletics career to date when he leaped to victory in the high jump at the Tailteann Games which were held in Santry at the weekend. The Tailteann Games is an annual inter-provincial schools event between the top schools athletes in the four quarters of Ireland. Jerry leaped 1.95m to take the title on countback and in the process claim his first international vest for Ireland with selection onto the Irish schools team…
