Juvenile/student membership renewal is now open for the year 2022 – see here for online link. As the Galway Indoors are on the weekend of 7/8th January and entries are due in by January 3rd, we need to have all participants registered for 2022 by then. The inaugural Connacht Athletics Awards were announced yesterday, and Craughwell AC’s superb year was reflected with four prestigious “gongs”, including the coveted inaugural Best Athletics Club. Awards are inherently very un-athletics-like in that they are fundamentally subjective and arbitrary but the general consensus is that the winners were well deserved in all categories and the process was open and transparent.
