Our U11s training group descended on Athlone International Arena on Sunday for the inaugural ‘Craughwell Indoor Olympics’ on Sunday. The event was a team event with the athletes split into 3 evenly balanced teams and competing across 5 events – 60m, 400m, shot put, long jump and high jump with loads of fun and some great performances. A small but hugely talented group of athletes made the journey to Glasgow for the Scottish Indoors this weekend. The club first embarked on trips to the Scottish Indoors all the way back in 2008 and have gone most years since then missing only 3 years and the 2 pandemic years. National Novices Silver medalist Jamie Fallon headed to Cork in determined mood and did his utmost to win a title on Sunday.
