Super Performances at Connacht U9-13s

There were many outstanding performances at the Connacht Championships yesterday from our U9s 10s 11s 12s and 13s with loads of super personal bests and lots of medal winning performances in very wet conditions at times .. with 19 individual medals and many more in the paired events. A small contingent from the club made the short journey down to Templemore AC’s fine facility for the Munster Senior Outdoors on the Bank Holiday Monday. Warde and Hallinan lead the way in Schools T&F

The finest School athletes in Ireland travelled to Tullamore on Saturday for the Irish School Track and Fields finals and it didn’t disappoint.  Presentation College Athenry’s Evan Hallinan won the high-Jump with an outstanding 1.95m leap, just 1 cm off his personal best.
