It was another packed weekend for Craughwell AC Athletes in domestic and International action. All-Ireland Glory for U17 and U15 boys The highlight of the weekend came at the National Indoor Championships in Athlone. Congratulations to Evan Hallinan who received his Athletics Ireland Star Award at the weekend at the awards ceremony in the Mullingar Park Hotel. There were some absolutely stunning performances from the Craughwell AC Athletes at the finals of the Secondary Schools Cross Country. The course in Tallaght was a fast one with plenty of turns but was dry overall. The University Students were on form in varsity xc! Some fantastic running in the varsity xc at Queen’s University, Belfast on Saturday. Conditions were cold and windy, and the course was a technically challenging one, full of twists and turns with fast flat expanses broken up by regular steep mucky level-changes.
