On a soft day in Santry there were some fine performances from the Craughwell Crew in the IMC Dublin on Saturday. Highlight performance was probably Seán Cotter smashing Jamie Fallon’s 8 year-old Club Junior 1500m record with a cracking 3:58.54, closely tailed by Kyle Moorhead who ran a PB 3:58.88. The national Road Relays in Raheny village is a unique spectacle full of tradition and historic rivalries. Jamie Wins National 10k Silver!

He’s gone an done it again! Jamie Fallon was second home out of over 1300 runners in the  National 10k Championships in Phoenix Park on Saturday morning.  Jamie ran a fantastic new personal best of 30:57 on the hilly course, just 8s behind the winner, Olympian Mick Clohissey.  Mick went out hard – covering the first 3km in 8:50 before settling down and grinding out the miles. In a tough “links” cross country course in Wales, Declan O’Connell had the race of his life representing Ireland and Clarin College Athenry in the SIAB Schools International Cross Country.
