Shauna on the biggest Stage

World Championships Paris It was a historic week for Craughwell AC as Shauna Bocquet became its first athlete to compete at a major championships at Senior level. Shauna was competing in the World Para Athletics Games in Paris against the very best in the world.  19-year old Shauna competed in the 1500m, the 100m and the 400m. Moorhead takes Bronze in National U23s

The National league is an annual team event where clubs and counties compete over the full range of athletic events. This year it consists of two rounds, and the preliminary round took place in the fantastic new Morton Stadium Saturday in stunning sunshine and thunderous downpours. Cracking racing at DSD 2023

The action continued in June with some cracking races at the DSD Games, held on their spectacular new track on 18-June. The DSD Campus is about 25 Acres of heaven and the ideal place imaginable for an athletic facility. There are wooded trails, streams, wildlife, wild flowers and a sublime track. The Irish Milers Club series of graded meets are the premier non-championship events in the country and the second event this year was on UCD’s fantastic new track in Belfield on 10th June. Warde and Hallinan lead the way in Schools T&F

The finest School athletes in Ireland travelled to Tullamore on Saturday for the Irish School Track and Fields finals and it didn’t disappoint.  Presentation College Athenry’s Evan Hallinan won the high-Jump with an outstanding 1.95m leap, just 1 cm off his personal best.
