After the horrendous weather we had during the week, our prayers were answered Sunday morning when we were blessed with a perfect spring day in Craughwell for the 5th Annual Craughwell 10mile road race. Up on 600 athletes took to the starting line of the Craughwell 10 mile road race at 1pm on Sunday 23rd March with representation from over 45 different clubs from all over the country. Craughwell AC ladies excel in Athlone IT

The Indoor track and field league final was held in Athlone IT last Sunday 16th March 2014. The Craughwell AC ladies team performed exceptionally well to finish in 2nd place with 64 points, just one point behind the winners Leevale from Cork. The team achieved 4 wins on the day. Huge Congratulations to Gerry Ryan and to our Craughwell AC Womens W50 Team. What great news to receive from the Galway AAI County Board this morning. Our W50 Team of Eileen Finn Graham, Maria McArdle and Marie Rooney have been selected as 2013 Galway Athletic Team of the year for 2013.
