Super run by Conor Duggan to shave another one-tenth of a second off his 200m PB and club record at day 2 of the Avaya Galway Senior T&F – with the new mark set at 23.13. Conor won the gold medal in the junior category and had the fastest 200m of the day across all grades. Michael Walsh placed 4th in the M35 200m in a time of 31.55.

Sineád Treacy took the gold in the junior women’s race in a time of 25.81, while Rachel Finnegan took gold in the senior women’s 200m in a time of 28.55. Sineád time was just a fraction of a second outside of her club record of 25.55.

Eddie Corban took bronze in the M35 5000m in a time of 18.05.25 while Michael Walsh placed 8th in a time of 21.12.54. Michael also turned his hand to the discus where he took the bronze with a throw of 16.16 while Seamus Lynch continued his return to the jumps with silver in the M35 high jump with 1.40m.
