Tomorrow Cathriona Farrell faces a huge challenge as she competes in the 10th European Youth Olympics in Tampere, Finland.   This will be the highest level that she has yet competed in, and the highest level anyone in the club apart from Ann Loughnane has reached.

The high jump must be such a tough event as you really don't get any time to settle in.  Let's hope she's feeling confident, jumping strong and gets a big slice of luck tomorrow.  The standard is as high as it comes so making it through the first round would be a fantastic achievement.

She'll be competing around 3:30PM Irish time and I'll post the results here as soon as they get in.   Our man in Finland Mike will text results to me as they happen.
