Caron Debuts for Ireland

Caron Ryan made her Irish debut recently when running on the Irish U20 Development Team in the Celtic Cross Country in Antrim where she put in a strong run to keep up with the leading group in the early laps and finish 13th place overall – a fine performance against the top runners from these islands.

Caron’s performance comes on the back of a fantastic year last year which culminated in a bronze medal at the National U19 Cross Country Championships. Caron joins a list of 19 other athletes from the club who have been selected for Ireland over the years as follows:
