Great Combinations at Connacht Schools CE Finals

On Thursday the Schools Action continued, this time with the Secondary Schools Combined Events finals in Athlone.  Siofra Davis and Leonore Church of Presentation College Athenry came 2nd and 3rd in the Senior Girls competition with Siofra winning Long-Jump and Shot Put and Leonore winning the 800m. Fierce Competiton at Connacht Schools Cross Country 2023

The Connacht Primary Schools Cross Country finals took place in a fairly wet and mucky Tuam Demense last Tuesday and there were some outstanding performances from Craughwell AC Athletes. There were many outstanding performances at the Connacht Championships yesterday from our U9s 10s 11s 12s and 13s with loads of super personal bests and lots of medal winning performances in very wet conditions at times .. with 19 individual medals and many more in the paired events.
