Fantastic Performances at National Multi-Events!

The club had a large contingent of athletes in action yesterday with some wonderful performances at the National Indoor Combined Events Championships in Athlone IT. A long day which kicked off the with U15 girls and boys high jump at 10am in the morning concluded just after 7pm in the evening with the youth women’s 800m. Craughwell AC entered its first ever men’s team in the National Indoor League on Sunday in Abbotstown and they performed admirably. The league involves competing across a range of events and totals are awarded based on position. For round 1, Cormac Kearney ran in the 60m, coming 5th in his heat with 7.55 to score 4 points. Juvenile/student membership renewal is now open for the year 2022 – see here for online link. As the Galway Indoors are on the weekend of 7/8th January and entries are due in by January 3rd, we need to have all participants registered for 2022 by then.
