Enjoy a Night at the Dogs with Craughwell Athletic Club and its Craughwell Community Sports Group partners . All monies raised go towards providing improved facilities for the club!

When we last organised such an event 2 years ago, everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

While its not a great time to have grandiose plans and ambitions, this is precisely what the club has. We hope to be in a position soon to acquire a site for  an indoor athletics training centre. This will house all of the athletics events in addition to providing a multi-purpose sports court that can be used for athletics and other sports. When more progress has been made, we can provide more detailed information on the project early next year.

Our priority is to be able to practise all of the athletics events safely all year around – and get out of this freezing cold weather! We have major ambitions as a club which will help both children and adults continue to enjoy athletics and to make the most of their athletic talents. We have gone from strength to strength each year and an indoor facility is the next step.

Thank you again for your support in  2010, which has been another great year for the club and we look forward to your continued support in 2011.
