Well done to Mairead, Noel and Tracy who recently completed the Athletics Ireland Level 2 coaching course. The club now has 11 coaches qualified at level 1 or higher as follows:-

Additionally the club have 22 more coaches who have completed the Athletics Ireland Assistant Coach training course. In total the club have 52 active coaches – a massive number of volunteers by any measure and the club’s most important asset. The club are continually seeking to further our coaches knowledge. We recognize that attending a weekend training course is a big time commitment on top of what is already a big time committement for attending training sessions a number of times each week. To make it more convenient to attend one, the club hope to organise a Level 1 course in Craughwell during the summer and an Assistant Coach course in early Autumn.
