A massive well done to Damien O’Boyle on his selection for the Irish Junior Development Team to contest the Celtic International Cross Country in Edinburgh this coming weekend. Damien’s selection comes on the back of a very strong performance in the National Junior Cross Country before Christmas where he placed 11th and also on the back of several 15.xx 5k races last Autumn. Damien is making giant strides at the moment from his base in Sligo where he is studying in Sligo IT and training as part of the legendary (if you can be young and legendary!) Dermot McDermott’s training group.
