Conor Hoade put in an exceptional performance at the weekend at the National Combined Events Championships held at Athlone IT where he took the silver medal in the U14 Boys event with a series of fine performances to yield a score of 2358 points which included impressive jumps of 4.95m and 1.48m in the long jump and high jump. There were good displays also from Ellie Cronin and Lewis Ryan in the U15 grade, in particular Ellie’s 1.53m clearance in the high jump.
