The Craughwell 10 Mile is over for another year, 300 people ran this years race on an exciting new route, weather conditions were tough, rain and wind throughout!

This year we are pleased to say local woman from Loughrea Laura Shaughnessy won in a time of 57.59. John Whiriskey from South Galway AC was 1st male home in a time of 58.52 while Craughwell AC Tom Prendergast was 4th home overall in a time of 59.08. 

A great day for Craughwell senior club,we would like to thank the many people that made this event such a success.

 Revive Active, Mary Porter PA, the use of the community hall, Motorcyclists Alan Porter, Marshall’s, Jody’s for coffee cups, Super Value Ballyragget, GAA, Aldi for the fruit, Clada minerals for water, RSA for high viz, Super Value Loughrea, all the bakers and helpers.
