If you have a free couple of hours on Wednesday evening, Athlone IT is the place to be for the Arena Grand Prix where a number of Olympians will be in action in frack and field as well as our own Cathriona Farrell in the high jump.

An U13 4x200m will also be held as part of the event and Craughwell AC are lucky to have teams in both the girls and boys events.

And to add even more spice to the meet, another assault will take place on the All-Comers indoor mile record with a number of athletes seeking to break the elusive 4 minute mile barrier indoors.
