Craughwell AC’s team who contested round 2 of the National Senior Indoor League, placing 6th after the 2 rounds

Craughwell AC’s senior women’s team put in a strong performance to finish in 6th place overall in the National Senior Indoor League after round 2 in Athlone in January.

Sinead Treacy stormed to 2nd place in the 400m in an impressive 57.99 setting a new club record in the process. Laura Cunningham placed 5th in the triple jump and Ellie Cronin 6th in the high jump. Sinead Gaffney took 6th place in the 1500m while Sarah Finnegan placed 6th in the heats of the 200m.

The day wrapped up with an impressive 4x200m team performance to place 2nd in their heat in a time of 1.49.60 with the team of Sinead Treacy, Laura Cunningham, Rachel Finnegan and Ellie Cronin.
