Craughwell AC Shakes It Up with Big City Clubs at Top of Membership Tables
In figures just released on AAI's website, Craughwell AC is really punching above its weight in membership numbers, proudly sitting in the top four alongside clubs from the big cities of Galway, Kilkenny and Dublin. Centered in a rural area with most of its members from within 5 or 6 miles of the village, its a remarkable achievement and reflects the huge efforts being made within the club at both juvenile and senior level to encourage participation from the locality. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
With 327 members under 20 and 285 adult members, its a great vote of confidence in the club and the structures within the club. And indeed its not just in participation terms that the club are shining. At the recent U9-11 National Championships, the club were one of the top Connacht clubs at the event and at the recent U13-19 Connacht Championships, the club topped the medal table of individual medal winners as illistrated below:-
