The club are in the process of producing a new year book covering the years 2006 and 2007.

In early 2006, we produced our inaugural yearbook for 2005 and earlier. So this new edition will cover our activities and successes since then.

This email is a call for articles from club members for inclusion in the new yearbook. We'd like to have as much original material as possible from as many members of the club as possible. So any of our juvenile athletes who wish to write a short article (or long article) on one or more of their experiences with the club, please do so – we'd love to be able to include it and undoubtedly it will be a nice momento for the athletes to have an article published that they can look back on in later years.

We're also looking for any photos from competitions that you would like to have us consider for inclusion in the yearbook. We need plenty of these, so email them or hand them to us at a training session.

And if you are involved in the club as a senior athlete, we're looking for those articles also -whether its on a road race you ran, a track&field competition etc.

Please email your articles to craughwellacyearbook@googlegroups.com as soon as possible. The closing date for receipt of articles and photos is the end of October as we will be finalising the content during November in order to have it printed and available before Christmas.

Also in Nov, we will be asking for people to indicate how many copies of the yearbook they wish to buy. Copies will cost €10 each with a discount for extra copies for the same family (€5 per extra copy). The reason that we need this info is that the last time around, we printed way too many and still have boxes of yearbooks (still available to buy if you didn't get one!).
