Thank you to all who helped make the craughwell leg of the 5k series a success tonight, Compeditors , Marshalls, Gardai  And spectators alike all did a superb job and made it yet another great evening of running. Well over 500 set out in the misty damp conditions but spirits and times remained strong.

Matt Bidwell led home a GCH 1,2,3 and made it 3 out of 3 for himself in a time of 15:45 followed by Ruaidhri Geraghty 2^nd in a time of 16:17 & Owen Byrne came 3^rd in a time of 17:21. Great running lads!

Regina Casey also of GCH took the top spot for the ladies and 3 out of 3 for herself in a time of 18:14 followed by Anna Crooks, recently recruited by Athenry Ac who came 2^nd in a time of 19:00 followed by Caroline Whiriskey, recently recruited by the whiriskeys J taking 3^rd spot in a time of 19:06. Fantastic competition girls!
