Craughwell to the fore at IMC Dublin
The Irish Milers Club series of graded meets are the premier non-championship events in the country and the second event this year was on UCD’s fantastic new track in Belfield on 10th June.
Jamie Fallon was first in action for Craughwell in the 5000m and he smashed the club record with a fine 8:19.57 clocking.

Sinéad Treacy is the finest female sprinter the club has ever produced and she smashed her own 7-years old personal best and the club record on Saturday with a 12.08 dash, tantalisingly close to the magical 12-second barrier. Sinead also ran a solid 25:05 in the 200m.

Sean Cotter wasn’t feeling in top form, but such is his fitness that he still smashed the club mile record, covering the distance in 4:17.2.
Kyle Moorhead is a 2-lap specialist and he ran 1:52.68, his third time in a row to run 1:52. Oisin Davis hasn’t ran 800m in over a year, and was happy to knock over 2s off his personal best with 1:55.27. Sinead Gaffey ran a 9-second season’s best in the 1500m with 4:40.8.
