If you are one of those that depend on the Irish Runner calendar to plan their racing year,then you should note that the date is incorrectly printed in the Irish Runner and the Hollymount road race takes place on Nov 13th and not Nov 6th as printed in the Irish runner fixture list.

Our own Jo Gardiner is involved in the organisation of the race and it would be great if we could field mens and womens teams – perhaps there is some interest in the 3k from the older juvenilles as well..?   The famous Hollymount race has a high quality field and attracts several overseas participants of all levels – especially from Liverpool.  The 10k consists of 3 laps and it is traditionally a fast course despite the presence of an inconvenient hill as you pass through the town.

Race 1: Youth 3 km race: Boys & Girls at 1pm
(Under 17) Cost of Entry €10
Prizes for first 3 boys & Girls
Team prizes: 1st team with 3 to score.

 Race 2: Ladies 3km International Race at 1.30pm
Cost of Entry €15
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Senior Women
Team prizes: First 3 teams with 3 to score.

 Race 3: Senior Men’s International 10km at 2pm
Cost of Entry €15
Prizes for Top 10 Individuals & first 3 men O/40.
Team prizes: First 8 teams with 4 to score.
