On Saturday last, the cream of Irish juvenile athletics faced each other in the Irish Schools Track & Field in Tullamore. With 30 athletes from the club having qualified from the Connacht finals, it was the club’s highest participation ever in these finals. These finals are widely considered the highest standard of juvenile athletics in the country and so it was to be on Saturday with many fine performances.
