A small group of Craughwell's younger athletes travelled down to the Ennis Open Track & Field meet on Sunday where they had incredible success. Finbarr McFadden and Ryan Gallagher placed 2nd and 3rd in the U10 Boys 80m with Cian Garman also making the final. Finbarr went on to win the 200m with Cian placing 2nd and both athletes helped Craughwell AC to victory in the U10 relay along with David Waters and Ryan Gallagher. In the U11 Boys 100m, Micheál McFadden took 3rd place in the final and took 2nd place in the long jump with a new PB of 3.66m. The U11 Girls long jump saw fine jumps by Siona Lawless to take 2nd place with a PB of 3.45m while Tara Slattery also jumped a PB of 3.08m and Fiona Ryan did likewise in the U11 300m.
