Double-european champion David Gillick suddenly leapt right to the attention of the Athletics world with an incredible run last weekend. For 400 meter runners the 45 second barrier is a massive one and very few people cross it. To put it in perspective it’s a LOT easier to do a 4 minute mile. This video is not a long one – enjoy!
This run makes Gillick the 5th fastest man in the world this year for one lap of the track. Up until 1967, this would have been a world record. Any chance we could bring forward Berlin a couple of months?
