Good luck to our athletes taking part in Kilbeggan next Sunday – we have 3 Craughwell AC teams in action, U12 girls, U14 boys and U16 boys, and also some seniors taking part as members of the County Galway team.

In case you are wondering, the event will definitely be on. The AAI have posted 2 notices on their website advising that it is on, but to travel early as some roads may be blocked with floods.

The course looks good, a little wet but nothing to get too concerned about:-

Only joking of course! There are no palm trees in Kilbeggan and it probably won't be sunny there!

Come prepared for the muck and the rain. By all accounts its going to be worse than Sligo and Ballinamore were earlier this year – although I don't think anything could be worse than Ballinamore was!
