Information on and directions to Connacht Indoors Day 1
Day 1 of the Connacht Indoors takes place tomorrow Sat 18th Feb at the new athletics facility in Claremorris. All of the field events (long jump, high jump and shot putt) and the hurdles will take place. Remaining events will take place in Nenagh on Sunday March 11th. Directions to Claremorris Track If you are travelling from Roscommon through Ballyhaunis and straight to Claremorris, you will be coming directly onto the 1st roundabout where you will take the last exit, follow down to the lights (passing the McWilliam Hotel on your right) and go straight through onto the next set of lights at the T junction. You take a right onto the Castlebar Rd. and continue down for about a mile passing a graveyard on your left and just as you are rounding a corner the track is on your right handside. Be careful of the turn in. If you are coming up the N17 then you will be coming up the slip way onto the Claremorris-Ballyhaunis Rd, taking a left and heading towards the 1st round about as above.
