Less than 4 weeks to Kilconeiron

Kilconeiron is a well-supported hidden gem in the Galway road race calendar.  This will be the third running of the event.  I ran it for the first time last year and really loved the route.  for me it has the perfrect blend of challenging route, scenery and great historical sites along the way.  Each year a different charity is chosen for the event, and this year the organisers have decided to donate the funds to AWARE which aids depression sufferers.  More details are below.  Regardless of the cause it's worth running because if the quality of the race.  Last year the race was won by Gerry Ryan, his last race before transferring to Craughwell AC.

A 5 mile road race at this time of year is a perfect sharpener for the Craughwell 10 in March.
