Logistics for Connacht XCountry Day 2
Best of luck to all of our athletes taking part tomorrow in day 2 of the Connacht cross country. We have teams entered in all age groups bar U19 girls.
The course is close to Ballinasloe – following directions are from the St Ronan’s AC website who are hosting the event – turn off the motorway to go through Ballinasloe town and take the old N6 to Athlone for approx. 2 miles, passing the Birchgrove pub, a big pub with a thatched roof, and then a left turn immediately thereafter.
The venue is Padraig Pearse’s GAA Club and the first race (U11 girls) will be off at 1pm sharp. The other races will follow in quick succession.
Please note that spikes are not permitted in the function area or the dressing rooms.
