Local athletics heroine Olive Loughnane was given the honour of a large article on IAAF yesterday.  This is another indication of how far up the elite rankings the modest Loughrea woman is.  Not often you see an irish athlete featured on the IAAF – I can't remember the last one.  The article is well worth a read for anyone who is interested in race walking.
