When I woke up this morning and looked out the window I thought there was a thaw but then got the dreaded text from Athenry AC.. Cancelled! Or Postponed at least.  When I went outside I could see why – it was impossible to walk with the black ice never mind run.

Despite the ongoing thaw all day Mayo AC have wisely decided for the same thing and cancelled Wesport 5k which was set for tomorrow.
